How to generate a contract from an agreed sale (VIC)
Once an offer has been agreed upon in the Sell tab, you can generate the final contract for signing. This guide walks you through preparing the document in Sign.
Prerequisite: You must have a Master Contract (VIC) already set up in your campaign.

Step 1: Generating the Contract
- From your dashboard, open the relevant campaign folder and navigate to the Sell tab.
- Go to the Results section.
- Scroll down and click the Generate Contract button. This action merges the details from the agreed sale with your Master Contract.
- Click Prepare and Sign. You will be taken to the Sign workspace to finalise the document.
Step 2: Preparing the Contract in Sign
In Sign you will see a preview of the contract on the right and your editing tools on the left.
Reviewing and Adding Information
- Review Pre-filled Details: Fields highlighted in grey have been automatically populated with information from the agreed offer. This includes purchaser details and, if provided, their conveyancer's details.
- Add Remaining Details: Manually enter any remaining information required by the contract, such as the deposit due date, settlement date, or finance lender information.
Adding Special Conditions
You can add special conditions to the contract using two different methods.
-
Method 1: Using a Text Box
- Navigate to the special conditions page in the document preview.
- Click the Text Box tool ("A") from the toolbar on the left.
- Click on the document to place the text box.
- Type your special conditions into the text field that appears on the left.
-
Method 2: Using Annexures
- Click the Annexures button in the left-hand panel.
- You can either select a pre-loaded template from your library or click Upload Custom Annexure to attach your own PDF of special conditions.
Using Other Custom Tools
You can also use the other tools in the left-hand panel to:
- Strike through existing text.
- Insert a tick into a checkbox.
Saving Your Changes
Once you have finished preparing the document, click the Save button in the top right corner to lock in all your changes.
Your contract is now fully prepared and ready to be sent for signing.
