Template Editor: How to get started

The Template Editor helps you create branded materials for your agency. Use it to build everything from digital introductions to proposals and price updates. A consistent brand look across your documents builds trust and recognition with your clients.

How do I access the Template Editor?

You can find the Template Editor in the 'Tools' section of your account.

  1. From your dashboard, click the top-right menu.
  2. Select â€˜Tools’.
  3. Click on â€˜Templates’.

What’s in my template library?

Your library contains your current templates and base templates to build new ones.

  • My Templates: These are the templates loaded into your account. New users will find three templates ready to use: a Market Update, a Digital Introduction, and a Full Proposal.
  • Base Templates: Use these to build a new template from scratch. Options include Market Updates, Digital Introductions, Proposals, and Property Management templates.

How do I manage my templates?

You can preview, edit, copy, or archive any template from the library homepage.

Click the three dots on a template tile to access these options:

  • Edit: Opens the full editor to make changes.
  • Settings: Rename your template, add a description, and manage user access.
  • Make a Copy: Clones your template to create a new version.
  • Archive: Removes a template from active use.

How do I edit a template's design?

Use the ‘Settings’ tab in the editor to customise your template's branding.

  1. Click â€˜Edit’ on a template to open the editor.
  2. Select the â€˜Settings’ tab on the left.
  3. Here you can update the following:
    • Logo
    • Brand colours
    • Fonts
    • Print version settings
  4. Click â€˜Submit’ to save your changes.

It is best to include an image here to show the 'Settings' tab.

How do I edit the content of a template?

Use the ‘Sections’ tab to add, remove, and reorder the layout of your template.

  1. Click â€˜Edit’ on a template to open the editor.
  2. Select the â€˜Sections’ tab on the left.
  3. Drag and drop sections to change their order.
  4. Use the icons on each section to:
    • Jump to that section in the preview.
    • Edit the text and branding.
    • Delete the section.
  5. To add a new section, find a layout and click the plus icon.

How do I save and publish my template?

You must save and publish your template to make it available for your agents to use.

  1. Click â€˜Save Changes’ to save your work.
  2. Click â€˜Publish’ to make the template live.

How do I create and edit a template?

You can create a new template by starting with a base template and customising it with your own components.

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Click the App Switcher icon, then select 'Tools'.
  3. Click 'Templates' to go to the editor.
  4. Choose a base template and click â€˜Use template’.
  5. Click â€˜Edit Template’ to open the editor.
  6. From the left panel, add or remove components.
  7. To add a new component, find it and click 'Preview'.
  8. Click â€˜Use this section’ to add it to your template.
  9. Customise the component options and click â€˜Submit’.
  10. Click â€˜Save Changes’ to save your progress.

How do I change the template's settings like brand logo and colours?

You can customise your template’s branding and layout in the ‘Settings’ menu.

  1. Click the â€˜Settings’ button in the editor.
  2. Upload your brand logo.
  3. Adjust font sizes and colours.
  4. Set the print orientation (portrait or landscape).
  5. Choose to show or hide the disclaimer.
  6. Click â€˜Submit’ to apply your changes.

What happens after I publish a template?

Publishing makes your template live and ready for use in campaigns.

Once you click ‘Publish’, you will be sent back to the template editor homepage. The status of your template will change from ‘draft’ to ‘published’.

 

 Templates in ‘draft’ status cannot be used for campaigns.

Can I create multiple templates for different agents?

Yes, you can create an unlimited number of templates for your office or for specific agents.
