Understanding the 'Make an offer' button on realestate.com.au

If you are a customer of both Realtair and realestate.com.au, you can enable a ‘Make an offer’ button directly on your REA listings. This feature is designed to streamline the offer process for your private treaty campaigns.

0424 REA Listing

When a buyer clicks this button, they are taken directly to the Realtair offer page for that property, allowing them to submit their offer online seamlessly.

Why isn't the 'Make an offer' button showing on my listing?

For the button to appear correctly, a few key requirements must be met. If you can't see the button on your REA listing, please check the following common issues.

  1. The Address Must Be an Exact Match The property address must match 100% between Realtair and REA. Check for any differences in spelling, spacing, or abbreviations.

    • Example: 123 Smith St in Realtair will not match 123 Smith Street in REA.
    • Example: Unit 1, 5 Main Avenue will not match 1/5 Main Ave.

If you update the address in Realtair to match REA, please note it can take approximately 24 hours for the change to sync and the button to appear.

  2. It Must Be a Private Treaty Listing The 'Make an offer' button will only appear on listings that are set to the Private Treaty sale type. It will not show for auctions or other sale types.

  3. There is a 24-Hour Activation Delay After you first activate a new listing in Realtair, it can take approximately 24 hours for the 'Make an offer' button to appear on the corresponding REA listing.

'Make an offer' Button: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

This guide answers common questions about the 'Make an offer' button integration with realestate.com.au.

What happens if a listing is on REA but not in Realtair?

For the 'Make an offer' button to appear, the listing must exist and be active in both your Realtair and REA accounts. If a listing is only in REA, the button will not be displayed as there is no Realtair campaign to link it to.

How can I opt out of this feature?

If you do not want the 'Make an offer' button to appear on your listings, please contact our support team at support@realtair.com. We will be happy to disable the feature for your account.

Can I see if an offer came from REA?

Not at this stage. All online offers, whether they originate from your own website or from the 'Make an offer' button on REA, will appear identically within your Realtair campaign. The system does not currently show the specific source of the offer.

Do buyers need to create a new Realtair account?

Yes. A buyer's REA account details are not used to create a Realtair account. When a buyer makes an offer via Realtair for the first time, they will be prompted to create their own new, separate account to ensure their information is secure.

Prospective buyers need to create their Realtair account. Details here
