Managing bidder registrations


Before managing the registration, you need to know that there are four registration statuses. 

  • Draft: The buyer has started but not yet submitted their registration.
  • For Review: The buyer has submitted their registration, and it is waiting for your review and approval.
  • Incomplete: You have sent the registration back to the buyer to provide missing or corrected information.
  • Approved: You have approved the registration, and the buyer is cleared to participate.

How to Action a Registration

Once you have reviewed a registration, you have three primary options.

Find the buyer on your Registrations list to perform any of the following actions.

Approving a Registration

  1. Review the buyer's submitted details and ID documents.
  2. If everything is correct, click the Approve button.

The buyer will automatically receive an email confirming their approval, along with a link to the bidding page.

Marking a Registration as Incomplete

If you notice missing or incorrect information:

  1. Click the Incomplete button.
  2. A pop-up box will appear. Write a short note to the buyer explaining what needs to be fixed (e.g., "Please upload a clear photo of your driver's license").
  3. Click Send.

The buyer will be notified and can update their registration with the correct information.

Managing Authorised Bidders

If a buyer has nominated an authorised representative to bid for them, the bidding link is automatically sent to that representative upon approval.

  • To resend this link at any time, simply click the Resend Link button next to the registration.

Editing or Deleting a Registration

  • To update a buyer's details yourself, click Edit.
  • To remove a bidder completely from the list, click Delete.

Note: The buyer will not be notified if you edit or delete their registration.
