Steps to: Manually register a buyer for an auction

First, navigate to the buyers tab in your campaign:

  1. From your dashboard, click on the relevant campaign folder.

  2. Navigate to the Sell tab.
  3. Click on the Buyers tab to view your registered and pending bidders.
  4. Click the + Bidder button on the right-hand side.

You’ll now see two options for manual registration.

Option 1: Register a Bidder Outside of Realtair

This option is perfect for last-minute registrations right before an auction starts. It allows you to record the bidder with minimal details so you can proceed with the auction.

Simply assign them a bidder number, hand them the paddle, and you’re ready to go.

Option 2: Full Manual Registration

For a more detailed registration, you can capture the buyer’s information directly in Realtair.

  1. Choose the registrant type: Select whether you're registering the buyer directly or a representative acting on their behalf.
  2. Upload ID: Upload a copy of their identification. If you’re using an iPad or mobile device, you can take a photo and upload it instantly.
  3. Assign a bidder number: Enter a number for the bidder. The system will alert you if that number is already taken.
  4. Add joint buyers (optional): To register multiple people (like joint purchasers), click Add Buyer and repeat the steps.
  5. Confirm eligibility: Tick the box to confirm the buyer is legally entitled to purchase property in Australia.
  6. Submit: When you’re done, click Submit.

Important Information

  • This manual process is only for in-person buyers, not for online registrations.
  • Once you click Submit, the system automatically approves the buyer, and they are immediately ready to bid.
