How to Release a Private Offer for Review
When a Private Offer is ready to be considered by the listing agent and vendor, it needs to be ‘released’. This action changes the offer from a confidential draft into an active offer within the campaign.
This guide explains how to release a Private Offer and what happens once you do.
Releasing the Offer
Follow these two simple steps to make the offer visible to all relevant parties.
- From the offer screen, click Release Offer. This will begin the process of making the offer visible to users with primary access to the campaign.
- A pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm. Click Release.
What Happens After an Offer is Released?
Once you release the offer, it becomes a fully active part of the campaign. You will notice that:
- The offer’s status changes to For Review.
- The primary listing agents are automatically notified that a new offer is ready for them.
- Key features are now enabled for the offer, including Agree, Defer, Send to Vendor, and the offer chat function.
- The offer will now be included in the Offer Ranking calculation, if this feature is enabled for your campaign.
Understanding Private Offer Notifications
It's important to note that even if an Assistant Agent or Admin takes an action on a Private Offer, only the Primary Agent will receive the following notifications while it remains private:
- Private Offer Created for [Property Address]
- Sent to the assigned agent when the offer is first created.
- Private Offer Updated for [Property Address]
- Sent when any changes are made to the offer before it is released.
- Private Offer Withdrawn for [Property Address]
- Sent if the offer is withdrawn before being released.
Once the offer is released, the standard campaign notification rules apply.
