Template Editor: How to add a Comparable section

Comparable Data is a key feature in Pitch Templates. It allows you to add current listings, recent sales, and rental data directly into your presentation. This helps you showcase market insights in a professional and clear way.

How do I add a comparables section to my Pitch template?

To add comparables, you first need to edit a template and choose a layout for your data.

  1. Click 'Tools' from the top menu on your Dashboard.
  2. Select 'Templates' under the Pitch section.
  3. Choose the template you want to edit.
  4. Click the three dots and select 'Edit'.
  5. Search for 'Sales', 'Listings', or 'Rentals' in the editor's search bar.
  6. Click 'Preview' to see how a layout looks.
  7. Click 'Use This Section' to add it to your template.

How do I set the default search filters for comparables?

Set your team’s default search filters to quickly find relevant comparable properties.

  • Use property details: Defaults the search to match the subject property's details like bedrooms and bathrooms.
  • Radius: Sets how far from the property the search should extend.
  • Minimum Price: Sets a minimum price for the search results.
  • Date Range: Filters results from the last 0 to 6 months.
  • Default Sort Order: Sorts results by Distance, Price, or Date.

Click 'Submit' to save your settings.

How do I preview and save my new section?

You can preview your comparables section before saving it to your template.

  1. Select three sample properties to generate a preview.
  2. Do the same for the second tab if you have one (e.g., Listings).
  3. Click 'Submit' to view the preview.

  4. Your new section will appear at the bottom of the list.
  5. Drag and drop the section to your desired position.
  6. Click 'Publish' to save your template changes.
