How to use Comparable Data in Pitch

Comparable properties are a vital part of any Pitch presentation. They help you show clients where their property sits in the current market, building trust and demonstrating your expertise.

This guide provides a step-by-step process for adding and managing comparable properties.

How do I add comparable properties to my Pitch?

You can add properties by searching, using system suggestions, or creating a custom entry.

To add your comps:

  1. Open a campaign from your dashboard.
  2. Go to the â€˜Pitch’ tab and click the pencil icon to edit your proposal.
  3. Navigate to the â€˜Comparable Data’ section (it may be named ‘Recent Sales’).
  4. Choose one of the three ways to find properties:
    • Use the Search Bar to find a specific address.
    • Use the System-Generated list and apply filters.
    • Click ‘Create’ to add your own off-market or new property.
  5. Click the â€˜Add’ button on any property you want to include.
  6. It will now appear in your â€˜Added Properties’ list on the right.

How do I edit the properties I've added?

You can easily edit any property after you have added it to your presentation.

To edit your added comps:

  1. Find the property in the â€˜Added Properties’ section.
  2. Click the edit icon on that property.
  3. From here you can:
    • Change the main image.
    • Remove any unwanted photos.
    • Add a private file note.
    • Update the sale price if it was withheld.
  4. Click â€˜Update’ to save your changes.
  5. To change the order of properties, simply drag and drop them in the list.

Note: Updating a sale price only applies to the current presentation. The change will not be saved for future campaigns.

How do I change the view of the search results?

You can switch between a tiled view and a list view to see the data differently.

  • The tiled view is the default and shows a gallery of properties.
  • The list view provides more detailed information for each property at a glance.
